Location Transparency & Compliance

AstraPeople uses location services to ensure accurate attendance marking and field tracking for payroll and operational efficiency. We are committed to user privacy and transparency.

Field Tracking (Active Duty)

For employees in field roles, live tracking is active during work hours to record movement and optimize assignments. This requires "Always Allow" location permission.

Office Verification

For office-based staff, we only verify your location at the exact moment of Clock In and Clock Out to confirm presence at the assigned branch.

Account & Organization Deletion

If you wish to delete your account or your entire organization's data from AstraPeople, please contact your organization's primary HR administrator or IT department.

Data deletion requests must be initiated by an authorized representative of your organization to ensure security and compliance with your employment terms.

Quick answers to the most common questions from employees and administrators.

Use the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. A reset link will be sent to your registered email. If you cannot access that email, contact your HR manager to initiate a manual reset.

Ensure you are using the same credentials as the web portal. Check that your organization has enabled mobile access for your role. If the problem persists, clear the app cache and try again, or raise a ticket with your IT team.

Once logged in, navigate to the "Payroll" section from the sidebar to view and download your monthly payslips as PDF documents.

AstraPeople uses location only for attendance verification (Clock In / Clock Out) or live field tracking if your role requires it. You will see a disclosure modal before any location data is collected. You can also review the full explanation in the Location Transparency section above.

Profile updates are typically managed by your HR administrator to ensure payroll and compliance records remain accurate. Raise a change request through your HR department or use the "Edit Profile" option if your organization has enabled self-service.

Contact your line manager or HR team directly. Administrators have the ability to correct attendance records within the platform within the allowed correction window defined by your organization.

The app is optimized for Android 10+ and iOS 13+. For the best experience with location-based features, we recommend devices with built-in GPS and at least 4GB of RAM.

Yes. All data, including location logs and personal documents, is encrypted in transit and at rest. We follow industry-standard security protocols and only share data with authorized personnel in your organization.

No, an active internet connection is required to verify your location and sync the timestamp with the server in real-time. This ensures the integrity of the attendance records.

The notification is a mandatory security feature of the Android/iOS operating system to let you know that a foreground service (location tracking) is active. It will automatically disappear once you Clock Out.

Your organization (employer) is the sole owner and controller of all data. AstraPeople acts strictly as a Service Provider. We do not sell your personal information, location logs, or documents to third parties, and we do not use your data for advertising purposes.
